In response to the crit in NYC in which I was told the work was 'superficial' and 'too personal' and also 'let's see more fluids' (Mary Tan) I decided to document the next period and take fluids/dialogue further/deeper: which is NORMALISED AND UNSACRILISED/ UNSACRED AND SACRED AND TABOO AND NOT PAINFUL AND NOT VULNERABLE BECAUSE IT IS "EVERYDAY RITUAL" FOR ALL WOMEN ALONG WITH NUDITY FOR ALL HUMANS... and reinact a satirical crime scene/suicide in which i used my own period blood and objectified my own body as if it were a corpse, finger as a culprit, another creative child dead, another female artist whose work as body as political as normal as currency as nothing and everything UN/SACRED UN/POWERFUL... because I thought it was a comment on the art world. In NYC.
TAKING THE FLUIDS "FURTHER": NYC SUICIDE/MURDER BATHROOM CRIME SCENE: 'ANOTHER creative CHILD ABORTED' ANOTHER WOMAN'S ART WHICH IS "TOO PERSONAL" and vulnerable (lol!) as CULPRIT/VICTIM as funny: Another finger pointed and PERIOD BLOOD AS MY PAINT IN PROTEST SPLATTERED... "demonstration" of attacking criticism, my creativity as my fertility, bleeding and LAUGHING.... as it bleeds, on the NYC bathroom floor "gross". All cliches of course. Hype, media and art. Women's body, currency, art, talk, demonstration, point, protest. Miss Understood. "Slaughtered".
